Obituary Notice for Mark Blackard
I got this obituary notice on a Google alert today because of the name. I did not know this gentleman, but he died at 52, a young man. Perhaps it is yet another sign for me to step up my game because time is running out. If I die at 52, that means I’ve only got a decade left. Only ten more New Year’s Eve parties to attend. Only ten more Christmas’s where I’ve got to make excuses as to why I didn’t buy anyone a present. Only ten more tax returns to file.
Life is short, my friends. Live it to the fullest and enjoy yourself. As a matter of fact, I’m going out tonight and party like a rock star in this man’s honor.
Thanks Google, for giving me a reason to drink tonight. This Mark Blackard is still very much alive.
