Guess Who’s Taking Over Hanjin Shipyard in Subic Bay? Hint: It Ain’t the Chinese Communist Party.

Old Xi Jinping ain’t gonna be happy about this little business deal.

Too bad, Xi.

According to recent reports, U.S. private equity firm CERBERUS is buying Hanjin Shipyard for $300 million USD and will assume the 50-year lease.

Cerberus Capital Management’s address is listed as 1050 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Suite 500, Washington, DC 20036-5306. That’s a few blocks from the White House, my friends.

CLARIFICATION: In the video, I identify Vice President Dan Quayle (President George H.W. Bush’s Administration) as Chairman of Cerberus Global Investments. That’s correct. However, the Chairman of Cerberus Capital Management is John W. Snow, the 73rd Secretary of the U.S. Treasury for President George W. Bush’s Administration.

Either way, I’m sure you understand my point.
