Afghanistan’s Internet Shut Down To Curb Online Immorality

The U.N. is protesting the Taliban’s shutdown of Internet in Afghanistan. Apparently, the Taliban government is concerned that too much Internet usage is degrading the morality of young Afghans. While they’re obviously going to be portrayed as villains because teenagers can’t dance to TikTok or watch porn all day, do they have a valid point? Has the world really become a better place to live since Apple’s 2007 release of the iPhone? Let’s talk about it for a minute.
