Best Way to Watch Netflix in the Philippines?

We’re going with the Philippines version of Netflix for 549 PHP per month ($9.82 USD) and the operating system on our LG TV. Why? It’s cheaper than the U.S. version, there’s no need to run a VPN, and now there’s only one remote cluttering up the castle.

If you’re just going to watch Netflix and YouTube, there’s no need to purchase an Apple TV 4K or Amazon Fire TV Stick. Having one more gadget to deal with merely complicates daily life for your Filipina girlfriend or wife. Try explaining to your wife’s mother from the village how to switch the TV’s HDMI feed over to the Fire TV Stick. Watch grandma’s face when you try to explain what a VPN is for. Need I continue? Grandma CAN hit the power button and the Netflix button on the LG remote with no problems and go to scrolling. Anything more complicated than that ain’t gonna work for her.

And for the love of beer, DO NOT waste your money on Apple TV+. My goodness.
