After multiple briefings on knife safety, Fatima has already managed to slice open her finger. The incident occurred while she was making me a chicken sandwich with pickles, mayo, mustard, and Colby Jack cheese on raisin bread. She was trying to slice open the brand new package of expensive cheese during a brief brownout. The low light conditions caused her to mistake which side of the knife was sharp. She’s ok, my friends. More importantly, there was no blood on my sandwich so this story does have a happy ending. Maybe she’ll start listening to my safety briefings instead of just saying “nosebleed” which means the foreign guy is talking too much. Now she’s suffering from a real finger bleed.
