I got a ride with a friend up to Subic Town this morning.
The pharmacy I went to wouldn’t give me any Amoxicillin because the prescription is older than 30 days. A too casual “just update this and come back” lecture pissed me off. I was thinking, doesn’t this kid know we can only venture out three days a week during the lockdown?
Can’t we apply some common sense during a #Pandemic and a #Quarantine? I wasn’t asking for 300 tablets of Valium or Morphine. I was trying to get pediatric amoxicillin.
It was time for decisive action.
I made a trip to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Barrio Barretto to get a new prescription and fresh supply of Amoxicillin for Forrest G.
Mission Accomplished.
On the way back I picked up some extra provisions and tested out my fitness and state of readiness for our Tsunami Escape Plan. I passed with flying colors, my friends.
