I Felt Like I Had the Flu Back in January. Was it Covid-19? Thoughts for the Historical Record

I did a video back in January where I briefly discussed a “Respiratory Infection” that I picked up after hanging out with some Chinese folks down in Manila.

Here’s that short video:

The illness truly kicked my ass during the second week of infection.

At the time, I wasn’t thinking about the Coronavirus, Covid-19, or a Pandemic. I was worried about the Taal Volcano that cooked off on January 12.

During this video I’ll discuss in more detail about what went down back in January (to the best of my memory) and theorize out loud about why the Philippines doesn’t have 20k dead like Italy.

***At this point, I have no conclusive evidence to say that my illness in January WAS in fact, Covid-19. It is merely a theory until I can get an antibody test after this lockdown is over. My hypothesis about why the Philippines doesn’t have a high death rate is designed to invoke thought and begin the discussion. I’m not a virologist or a research scientist. I DID get sick in January with Flu-like symptoms that put me off my feet. I AM still quarantined and locked down here in the Philippines due to the Chinese Bat Research Virus.

Here is an article that I just read today (April 19, 2020) that perhaps supports my theory about Covid-19 hitting the Philippines very early on:

Herd immunity? 1 in 3 test positive for Covid-19 ANTIBODIES in pilot Massachusetts street study

This video (I Felt Like I Had the Flu Back in January. Was it Covid-19? Thoughts for the Historical Record.) was filmed on April 17th, 2020 which is Day 32 of the Luzon Enhanced Community Quarantine.
