Love the Philippines…

It’s short story time. I’ll tell you why you shouldn’t depend on your wife’s brother for a ride to the airport. And YES, you STILL have to wear a face mask on flights here in the Philippines!!!

President Marcos,

Please end this madness.

Tourists DO NOT want to come here and be forced to wear a mask on flights. Tourism and holidays are about freedom and having a break from being told what to do. The never-ending mask mandate here in the Philippines serves only to remind people of tyranny.

That’s not exactly a vacation.

Tourists are leaving here with a negative view of the Philippines and are telling their friends to pick another country to visit.

49 Million Pesos ($901,567 USD) were spent to develop the slogan:

“Love the Philippines”

I’ve been using that saying for years, but it goes like this:

“You Either LOVE THE PHILIPPINES or get the fuck out. There ain’t no in between.”

It seems like the marketing company not only used stock footage from places in Brazil, Indonesia, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates…

They ripped off my slogan as well.

If you want to increase tourism, you merely need to abolish ANY and ALL leftover Covid restrictions & nonsense.

This includes the useless face mask mandate on flights, questions about one’s vaccine status, and the e-travel pre-arrival form. It pisses people off who have to deal with a RED QR code. They have to stop at a medical desk like they’re on parole and show a damn negative covid test in the year 2023. It’s embarrassing.

Oh yeah, abolish the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases. They still think this is March of 2020 and apparently still believe that the Covid vaccine prevents transmission.

The only thing the IATF is preventing, is tourism.

There.

That’s how you increase tourism here in the Philippines.

I give you that for free, my friend.

King Marcos
