Me and Filipina Wife #1 Spent the Day in Olongapo & SBMA (The Old Subic Bay Navy Base)

I got up and decided to visit my favorite little camera store over at Harbor Point Mall. I wanted to check the price on the DJI Pocket 2. They didn’t have one in stock, but the local price is 30,000 PHP ($624.33 USD) for the Creator Combo kit if you’re wondering. The Creator Combo is listed for $499 right now on DJI’s website.

We then went hunting for a Crockpot but couldn’t find one of those, either. Come to find out, they DO have slow cookers at the old SM. You’ll find them in the main SM Store and NOT in the SM Appliance Store.

We decided to take a walk on Waterfront Rd and ended up having drinks with Eric and Mercy (Far East Papi on YouTube) at Texas Joe’s. ***Thanks goes out to Eric and Mercy for picking up the slow cooker for us!

At the end of the video, I’ll read all of the inscriptions on the monuments and historical markers by the big flag pole. If you’re a history buff, it will be interesting. If not, listen to it anyway.

Thanks for joining us on this video, my friends…

These images are from Wikipedia. They’re really good quality so you can zoom in on the area where we were walking. Check out how nice, neat, and clean the base was back then. Plenty of beautifully manicured green grass. In the top right hand corner of the first image, you can see the pond which is now Magic Lagoon.
