It was quite obvious from the start that the United States blew up those pipelines. The geniuses in D.C. crossed a red line that has changed the playing field. Now, there can be no valid arguments for any nation to exercise restraint in the best interests of humanity. All options are on the table from here on out.
Future attacks on energy infrastructure and the use of nuclear weapons suddenly does not seem improbable. It seems only a matter of when.
