Philippines authorities arrested a 30-year old Mongolian national at his apartment near Iba which is about an hour north of Subic Bay. According to the media, the individual is reportedly a “fighter pilot with the Chinese People’s Liberation Army”. The suspect was living in Iba and attending civilian flight school. Iba is on the coast and located less than 150 miles from the disputed Scarborough Shoal.
