I recently watched a movie called On The Beach. It came out in 2000 and is a remake of the original 1959 film by the same title. The movie was scary to say the least. It’s especially frightening considering the current state of affairs with China over the reunification of Taiwan. Both movies are based on a novel by Nevil Shute, published in 1957. The story is told post-nuclear war where radiation levels have wiped out most of humanity.
